Game Design

GAMINGLab

GAMINGLab pulls back the curtain on the games students already love. Instead of just playing, they learn how games are designed — the mechanics, the levels, the characters, the rules, and the experience those elements create together.

Students use beginner-friendly game engines to prototype and build their own games from the ground up. They explore narrative design, user interface basics, character development, and simple game physics — gaining a behind-the-scenes fluency that changes how they see every game they play. Final projects are playable games students can share with friends and family.
