Newburgh Creates offers hands-on summer camps for kids ages 7–14 in Newburgh, New York. Our camps bring together maker space projects, robotics, coding, game design, and civic thinking — giving young people the tools, space, and mentorship to build real things and solve real problems. Every camp is led by experienced instructors at our fully equipped satellite studio at 113 Liberty Street in the City of Newburgh.
We had a successful Summer 2026 at our studio, and we're already getting ready for Summer 2027. If you have an idea for next summer, like a camp you'd love to see, something your child wants to learn, or the weeks that work best for your family, we'd love to hear it.
Multi-week immersive programs running each summer. Small class sizes, real projects, and dedicated instructors — all skill levels welcome.
A hands-on maker space and design summer camp where youth ages 7–14 learn to turn ideas into real 3D projects. Students ideate, sketch, prototype, wire up, and build using professional-grade tools and materials. They graduate with a tangible portfolio of original work. BUILDLab develops design thinking, material literacy, and creative problem-solving skills.

Our summer camps serve youth ages 7–14. All programs are open to that full age range.
All summer camps take place at our studio at 113 Liberty Street in the City of Newburgh (12550). After-school programs run at 113 Liberty Street as well.

We know plans change. Cancel 7 or more days before your program starts and you get a full refund, minus card processing fees (those are charged by our registration platform and we can't get them back). Inside 7 days, you choose: a 50% refund or full credit toward another program. Once a program has started, we don't offer refunds.
Prefer to switch instead of cancel? Anytime before your program starts, you can transfer to another week or program, or hold the full amount as credit for a future season — no fees, no penalty.
Life happens. If illness, a family emergency, or financial hardship gets in the way, reach out — we'll work with you. To request a refund or transfer, email info@newburghcreates.com or call 845-244-6559. Refunds are processed through AfterSchoolHQ, our registration platform, and typically arrive back on your card within 5–10 business days.
Each camp focuses on different skills — from design thinking and fabrication (BUILDLab) to robotics and programming (ROBOLab) to coding (Junior Coding Lab) to civic design (CITYLab). All camps emphasize hands-on learning, creative problem-solving, and collaboration.
