Newburgh Creates began as two parallel organizations: Newburgh Creates Foundation, Inc. (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that accepted donations and grants) and Newburgh Creates (a for-profit entity that acted as the delivery partner running programs day-to-day).
We have since consolidated. Today, Newburgh Creates Foundation, Inc. does business as Newburgh Creates and operates all programs, initiatives, and community work directly. Everything flows through the foundation — funding, programs, and people.
This structure means every dollar donated goes directly to the programs and youth we serve, with full nonprofit accountability and transparency.
We don't want cost to keep a kid out, but our scholarship funds are limited and running low. Partial scholarships are available while funds last, so apply early. Apply →

Jason leads Newburgh Creates Foundation with a vision for what's possible when young people have space and support to invent.
Dave leads our technology and music programs, manages our IT needs, website, and online presence, and builds the partnerships that help Newburgh Creates grow.
Hanna shapes our programs and supports the instructors who teach them.
