A hands-on program for youth ages 7–14 in the Hudson Valley.
BUILDLab is where ideas become real objects. In this weekly Saturday program, students learn to ideate, sketch, prototype, wire up electronics, and build — working with professional-grade tools and materials in our Liberty Street studio. Every student leaves each session with a portfolio of things they actually made.
Each week builds on the last: design thinking, material skills, and the confidence to take a project from "what if" to finished. No experience needed — our instructors meet each student where they are.
Looking for the summer version? BUILDLab also runs as a full-day summer camp →

Curriculum guides, session plans, and program materials for BUILDLab instructors and partner educators are available in the teacher portal.
