A hands-on program for youth ages 9–14 in the Hudson Valley.
ROBOLab introduces students to the fundamentals of robotics — mechanical systems, sensors, motors, and the programming logic that brings machines to life. Students don't just learn about robots; they build them from scratch.
Working in small teams, students design and assemble physical robots, then write the code to make them do real things: navigate a maze, respond to light, avoid obstacles. The program builds intuition for how hardware and software interact, and develops persistence through the inevitable challenges of debugging and iteration.
Curriculum guides, session plans, and program materials for ROBOLab instructors and partner educators are available in the teacher portal.
