Come build some amazing robots with us here at Newburgh Creates. Homeschool ROBOLab is a weekly daytime program where homeschool students get to work on some real robotics. Students bring life to their creations with LEGO Education SPIKE Prime, Edison robots, and other robotics materials. They program their robots and solve engineering challenges in a working studio with dedicated instructors and a group of peers.
Homeschool ROBOLab runs Tuesday mornings through Oct 20, the end of Session 1. It is not offered in Session 2, which starts Oct 26. See Homeschool BUILDLab and Homeschool Digital Illustration on Thursdays and Homeschool 3D Print Lab on Fridays.
The group is multi-age by design, the way homeschool groups actually work. Siblings are welcome to enroll together, and projects scale up or down so a 7-year-old and a 13-year-old can work side by side — each challenged at their own level.
Two instructors run every session — Dave leads robotics and engineering, with Hanna alongside on design.
